Ghanaian comic actor Lil Win has credited Daddy Lumba’s hit song ‘Yentie Obiaa’ for helping him through the hurtful allegations of money rituals linked to his movie’s success.

The Kumawood actor said that he found solace in the song’s message of resilience during a challenging period sparked by public feuds and online trolls.

The Controversy

The allegations against Lil Win were made by actress Diana Asamoah, who warned parents and guardians to protect their children from him, alleging that he engages in human sacrifice to promote his movies.

This feud began after Diana criticized Lil Win’s spiritual leader, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, labeling him a “fake man of God”.

Lil Win retaliated with insults, calling her “stupid” and questioning her gender, prompting her to make the serious allegations.

Finding Strength In Music

Despite the challenges, Lil Win said that Daddy Lumba’s ‘Yentie Obiaa’ motivated him to remain focused.

He went on with the premiere of his movie “Ibrahim Traore”, which was successful and attracted dignitaries such as the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Ghana, David Kabre, and the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene.

A Successful Premiere

The premiere was attended by business leaders and some of his colleagues in the industry, including actress Vivian Jill, Dr. Likee, Kyekyeku, and Kweku Flick.

Lil Win’s determination to push through the challenges and host a successful premiere is a testament to his resilience and dedication to his craft.
