The Adenta Circuit Court has granted Salomey Awiti Baffoe bail of GH¢100,000 in a case involving allegations that she acted as an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker Ghana Jollof.
The court ordered that she provide two sureties, both of whom must be civil servants earning at least GH¢3,000 a month.
Salomey Awiti Baffoe was represented during the hearing by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah. He welcomed the decision to grant her bail.
She was arrested on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her home in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
The case attracted public attention after reports emerged that the 40-year-old mother of three had been detained at midnight. She is from Hansua in the Techiman Municipality.
According to those reports, three men who said they were National Security operatives arrived at her residence at about 11:30 p.m. on September 13 and allegedly took her away.
Her family subsequently faced difficulties trying to determine where she had been taken. At the time, the Bono East Regional Police Command and regional National Security officials were reportedly unable to confirm the operation and were said to have no record of it.
