Manchester United is optimistic of something special ahead of the new season. The Red Devils have added Mathijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich, Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro from Lille to their squad.

They already have Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Mainoo, Garnacho, Sancho, Rashford and Hojlund among many others.

“The mood is top. We are all excited now for the coming season. We are happy to see everyone back, because we are like a family. We have a very good relationship with each other. So yes, it’s good. Very positive to have everyone back and hopefully we have everyone fit as well, as soon as possible, because we are hungry to start.

“We have Kobbie, we have Garna, we have Amad. I think that’s something nice, and we will give them time. You have to know the Premier League is not easy, it is the biggest competition in the world, so this season might be difficult for them, but they are young, we will give them time.

“We, as leaders, have the responsibility and it doesn’t matter what happens, we’ll be there to support them in each situation,” Onana said.

The buzz around Old Trafford is very wonderful as the club’s fans’ expect the team to do much better than last season.

Manchester United opens the new season with a home fixture against Fulham Football Club on Friday night.
