At the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, on August 27, 2024, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) held its 30th Ordinary Congress.

It was all smiles and joy during the meeting between the “Football People” , the press and the GFA. It was all about Ghana football and it’s way forward.

President of the FA, Kurt Okraku, delivered a monologue talking about what the FA has done, is doing and will do.

The boss discussed Black Stars as he assured the nation that Ghana stands a chance to qualify for the next World Cup to be played in the USA-Mexico-Canada in 2026.

“Black Stars are in a good position to qualify for the 2026 World Cup,” Edwin Okraku said.

Ghana will resume the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March 2025 with games against Chad in Kumasi and Madagascar away.

The Black Stars in Group I is behind table toppers Comoros on just goals difference with both teams winning 9 points from possible 12.
