The revamped FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is under a huge threat. European Football clubs, players, owners and many fans have already expressed their displeasure towards the 32-team competition set to be played in the USA in the 2025 summer.

They have emphatically said that it will hurt the players physically as they are playing many more games.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Los Blancos will not honour FIFA’s invitation to the competition.

“Real Madrid will NOT go to the 2025 FIFA World Club Championship, we will reject the invitation like other clubs,” said Ancelotti.

It has been rumoured that FIFA will give an appearance fee of around €20 million and teams can make up to €30 million depending on how far you can go in the competition.

A sum of €30 million is nothing to the European big clubs as they are extremely rich and also mean business. How much is €30 million to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich?

“Just one single Real Madrid match is worth €20m and they want to give us that money for the whole competition… no way, Negative”, Ancelotti told Il Giornale.

The teams from the other continents especially Africa will be glad to receive 20 million Euros because they don’t have the financial clout.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will will have to face so many difficulties before it will go ahead.
