CAF has appointed Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema Weyesa to be the centre referee in Dreams FC’s crunch clash against Stade Malien on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

He will be assisted by Souru Phatsoane from Lesotho (Assistant I), Soulaimane Amaldine from Comoros (Assistant II) and Mohamed Athoumani from Comoros (Fourth Official).

The 43-year-old is one of the top referees in world football now as his know-how is unquestionably excellent.

Sanusi Mohammed from Nigeria is the Match Commissioner. Other officials for the game include Raphael Evehe Divine from Cameroon (Referee Assessor), Francois Regis Uwayezu from Rwanda (General Coordinator), Sannie Ibrahim Daara from Ghana (Media Officer), Mohamed Bowen Freeman from Sierra Leone (Security Officer), Haythem Guirat from Tunisia (Video Assistant Referee) and Khalil Hassani (Assistant VAR).

Dreams FC won the first leg 2-1 in Mali with John Antwi scoring twice in the second half. At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi at 4 pm, Ghanaians are expecting the Still Believe boys to beat Stade Malien and make it to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
