Ghanaians trusted the Ghana Police Service to arrest the robbers who were captured by a CCTV camera when they were robbing a Goil Filling Station.
The robbers physically and emotionally abused the attendants of the station, as a woman was heard shouting for one of her colleagues to open a room he had locked to seek refuge.
The robbers were captured by shooting the door in a bid to enter the room where they suspect money is kept.
The Eastern South Regional Police Command on Tuesday apprehended two individuals, Amos Boame and Collins Adjei, in relation to the robbery located at Kwafokrom near Nsawam on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
The suspects are accused of shooting a security guard and a pump attendant before stealing GH₵13,460 in cash and various supplies.
A third suspect, Ashivie, is evading capture and is being sought by the police.
The police collected an Alder Tupal pump-action gun with the serial number 245A-12944, an electronic stun device, a machete, and a bulletproof vest during the operation. These items are being stored as evidence.
The suspects are being investigated and will be processed to face court in the coming days.
