Ghana had been beaten 5-2 by Zambia in matchday 1 and 8-3 by Morocco, the host in matchday 2. 13 goals were conceded in two games by Ghana as just 4 were scored.

Ghana needed a miracle to progress to the next stage after those embarrassing defeats. Against Angola, the Palancras Negras thrashed the Black stars of Ghana 11-3 to end Ghana’s tournament.

In all, 24 goals have been conceded in 3 games as just 7 were scored. Ghana was optimistic heading into the tournament but has been disgraced by their opponents who looked much more prepared than the Black Stars.

Morocco topped Group A with 9 points and recorded 21 goal difference. Angola finished second with 6 points while Zambia won three points and finished 3rd. Ghana won 0 points and conceded 24 goals.
