The Ghanaian football attention was in Bechem as giants Accra Hearts of Oak needed a win at all costs to survive. Phobia won 3-2 after twice coming back from behind against Bechem United. Goals from Agbesimah, Kelvin Asibey and Yaw Baafi saved Hearts of Oak from an embarrassment.

Goals from Kalo Ouattara, Baba Yahaya and Pater Acquah in the first half ensured a smooth end to the season for Asante Kotoko as the Porcupine Warriors won 3-1 against Tano Bofoakwa.

Relegated Real Tamale United did not attend the game against Accra Great Olympics and hence Oly Dade was awarded 3 points and 3 goals but it was not enough to prevent them from the drop.

Stephen Amankonah scored twice in the first half to give Berekum Chelsea a commanding 2-0 lead against Heart of Lions. Defender Ebenezer Abban scored twice in the second half to secure a 2-2 draw for the Kpando-based club.

Derrick Adjei and John Antwi’s second-half goals helped Dreams beat Aduana Stars 2-1 in Dawu.

Bibiani Gold Stars’ Oleva Mohammed struck late in the second half to cancel Akatuk’s first half-goal for Legon Cities. The game ended 1-1 at the Elwak Sports Stadium.

Basit Abdul scored in the second half to help Karela beat Medeama 1-0 in Tarkwa.

Nsoatreman beat Nations FC 1-0 through Meider Kwabena’s first-half strike at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.

Champions Samartex defeated second-place Accra Lions 2-0 in the coronation match at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samaraboi. Emmanuel Mamah and Ebenezer Ocran were the scorers for Nsoatreman.
