The Ghana Premier League could be decided over the weekend if Bibiani Gold Stars fail to win in Berekum against Berekum Chelsea and Nations FC wins at Basake Holy Stars. It is not all over, as Karim Zito and Bashir Hayford have always been saying.

Bibiani Gold Stars are winless in their last three games, having won just a point out of 9. They were in a pole position to win the title, but the final month has proven to be a wicked month for Frimpong Manso’s men. Failing to win on Sunday at Chelsea could end their slim hope.

Nations FC travels to Holy Stars win only one thing on mind: to win. They are 3 points ahead of Gold Stars, and a point will be a good result for them.

Asante Kotoko are five points behind the table in third place, and it will take a miracle for them to win the league. Asante Kotoko will welcome Medeama and would love to win their final home game of the season for the fans.

Hearts of Oak will visit already relegated Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium. Head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed his desire to finish within the top 4 and will be expecting a victory over the beleaguered Royals. Mathematically, there’s no way Phobia can fight for the title, but a place in the top 4 won’t be bad.

Karela and Young Apostles’ fixture in Tamale is a relegation six-pointer because both teams are separated by just two points. A draw will see Young Apostles avoid relegation, but Karela will still be in a relegation battle if they fail to amass all three 3 points.

Samartex and Aduana Stars will lock horns at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in a game that is already a dead rubber.

Accra Lions will be on the brink of relegation if they fail to beat Dreams FC. It is simple for them, they have to win to stand any chance of playing in the Ghana Premier League next season.
