Jeffrey Schlupp, 32, has been released by London-based club Crystal Palace after eight years. The club and Schlupp decided to part ways after both parties decided not to renew the contract.

Schlupp joined Crystal Palace in January 2017 from Leicester City in a £12 million deal. He quickly became an integral part of the club, making 220 appearances and scoring 18 goals. He showed his versatility at the club after being used as left forward, left wing-back, central midfielder and forward.

In January 2025, Schlupp secured a loan to Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic, where he won the Scottish Premiership under Brendan Rodgers.

After returning to his parent club, Crystal Palace, Schlupp was informed that the marriage could not be continued.

The German-born Ghanaian versatile footballer is now a free agent and would be looking for a new club in the imminent summer transfer window.
