Madam Akosua Serwah Fosuh, popularly known as Akosua Serwaa, has broken her silence on the death of her lawyer, William Kusi, describing his passing as a devastating loss to her and her family.
In a statement issued on Sunday, November 8, 2026, Akosua Serwaa and her family expressed profound sorrow over the death of the legal practitioner, who passed away on the morning of Saturday, November 7.
She described Kusi as more than a lawyer, saying he was a trusted adviser, a dependable source of encouragement and a dear friend who stood by her during some of the most difficult periods of her life.
According to the statement, his death came as a shock to the family, who had come to regard him not only as an exceptional legal practitioner but also as a man of wisdom, integrity and compassion.
The statement further praised his professional commitment, sound legal judgement and dedication to the principles of truth and justice, which, it said, earned him the confidence and admiration of those who worked with him.
Kusi represented Akosua Serwaa in the high-profile legal dispute involving the marital status and rights of the two women associated with the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba.
