Kwaku Danso’s side was spectacular at the Baba Yara Sports in the 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon against Asante Kotoko. His team was well-organised defensively and showed much promise in the attack.

After taking the lead through Darlvin Yeboah, Albert Amoah scored a penalty kick to restore parity.

Bechem United returned home with a precious point, and head coach Kwaku Danso believes his side should have won the game.

“We should have won the game because my boys played to instructions,” Danso said.

“I don’t want to comment about certain things so let me reserve my comment on that,” he added.

Referee Animakwaw Kwofie awarded a penalty against the visitors, which many believe the decision was so harsh.

Kwaku Danso refused to comment on the referee’s performance on the day just to avoid punishment from the Ghana Football Association.

Bechem United sits 7th on the league log, having won 40 points from 26 games. They trail league leaders Asante Kotoko by 7 points.
