The multiple award winning actress has been away from acting and her fans have been wondering what exactly is the reason for her absence on their screens.
Via her Instagram page, the actress cum philanthropist explained why she is nowhere to be seen in movies in the last 3 years.

Nicknamed “Omo Sexy”, Omotola is a respectable married woman since 1996 with four kids with her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde. People believe she took time to relax with her family as she has been busy since 1996 when she played a role in Mortal Inheritance.
She is well known for movies like When Love Dies, Blood Sisters, A kiss from Rose, Die Another Day, Brave Heart and Shadow Parties among many other Grade A movies.
Her last movie was Lockdown in 2021. She didn’t hint on when exactly she is returning but she will surely return.
