Zambia 🇿🇲 v Ghana 🇬🇭
Time: 4 pm, Wednesday
Venue: Levy Nwanawasa Stadium, Ndola

Zambia will welcome Ghana to the Levy Nwanawasa Sports Stadium for the crucial Paris 2024 qualifiers. The second leg will see Copper Queens protecting their 1-0 lead over Ghana.

Zambia won 1-0 in the first leg with the most expensive female footballer ever, Rachael Kudananji, scoring the only goal in the first half on Friday in Accra.

Ghana head coach Nora Hauptle sounded positive in her pre-match conference as she thinks an early goal can rock the Zambians. She also said that she hopes to stabilise the game to favour the Black Queens.

Ghana had been incredible since the Swiss trainer Hauptle took charge exactly a year ago. She has beaten Senegal, Benin, Rwanda, Guinea and Namibia with ease.

In her first major test,  Hauptle’s Queens failed against s team that was a step or two ahead. Zambia was at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand which shows the level they have reached recently.

Even a draw can send the Copper Queens of Zambia through but expect Ghana’a Black Queens to fight until the end of time.
