Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy will feature on Wrong Toes, an international collaboration selected for the official soundtrack of upcoming action comedy
Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy will feature on Wrong Toes, an international collaboration selected for the official soundtrack of upcoming action comedy Boyz Trip, which is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
The song brings together Stonebwoy, American recording artist Mashanda Faust and Atlanta-based group Hero The Band. Their collaboration combines African and American musical influences and forms part of a wider entertainment project including the film, its original soundtrack and the Wrong Toes music video.
The project is executive produced by Alan Key and Kyle Scott, co-founders of Brisbane-based KeyScott Entertainment. Wrong Toes was conceived by Alan Key, while Kyle Scott led its creative development and execution, working with Mashanda Faust on the song’s musical direction and overall presentation.
Alan Key and Faten El Sayed wrote the track. Its official video was recently filmed at Cape Town Film Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, under the creative direction of two-time award-winning director Warren Gray.
Stonebwoy’s involvement provides another platform for Ghanaian music in international cinema. Known for combining Afrobeats, reggae and dancehall, he contributes his distinctive style to a soundtrack intended to reach audiences in Africa, North America, Europe and Australia.
The partnership with Mashanda Faust and Hero The Band also reflects the expanding creative links between African and American entertainment. Wrong Toes is one of a collection of original songs being developed for the Boyz Trip soundtrack through KeyScott Entertainment’s new music division, which focuses on film music, publishing, artist development and international collaborations.
