Two young Ghanaian ladies aged 21 and 23 have been captured on video begging Ghana to rescue them from the enormous troubles they are passing through in Jordan.

In the video, they sadly said, “Our passports have been seized, and when we tried to get help from the Ghanaian Embassy, we discovered that Ghana does not have an Embassy in Jordan. We are begging the Ghanaian authorities to come to our aid”.

Sources say they travelled to Jordan in June 2026 to seek greener pastures, but their words indicate that things have turned sour.

They continued in the video, “We wish to come back home due to the inhumane treatment they are subjected to us, but they have been asked us to pay an amount of 1,920 dollars before they will allow us to travel back to Ghana”.

“We are fed with bread and drink as a meal for a whole day,” they added.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ghana is yet to respond to the video circulating on social media.
