The whole of Ghana is supporting Dreams FC to knock out Malian side Stade Malian in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Ghana is determined to win back the two slots each for the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup as Medeama and Dreams have laid down the foundation for the possible dream.
Dreams FC and Medeama SC qualified for the Money Zone of the Confederation Cup and Champions League as they made history. Medeama could not progress from the group but Dreams are in the quarter-finals with Ghanaians hoping the Dawu-based club will make the nation proud once again.
20-year-old midfielder Sulemana Suyihini who has made 4 appearances for Still Believe in the Confederation Cup is optimistic that Dreams can go to Mali and win against Stade Malien.
“We expect to go there and get a decent result,” said Sulemana Suhuyini.
Dreams FC topped Group C and won in Angola against Academica. The Still believe has what it takes to eliminate Stade Malien as they have been among the best teams in the CAF Confederation Cup.
On Sunday at 5 pm in Bamako at the Stade du 26 Mars, Stade Malien will host Dreams FC in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
