MTN FA Cup winners, Nsoatreman FC, will face TP Elect Sport of Chad in the first preliminary round of the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup.
Nsoatreman finished 4th in the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League and surprisingly lifted the FA Cup which helped them win the ticket to represent Ghana in the second tier of African club football.
Head coach under whom they made history has left for South African Second Division side Black Leopards. His replacement Yaw Preko is expected to lead them to the promised land.
Yaw Preko’s men will play the first leg at home. The game will be played between August 16 and August 25.
60-year-old Elect Sport made it to the play-off round of the 2020 CAF Confederation Cup making it the furthest they have reached in the inter-club competitions on the continent.
The N’Djamena-based club is ready to fancy their chances against minnows, Nsoatreman of Ghana.
