No one can argue even if the 12 Technical Observers of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, Fabio Capello, Ioan Lupescu, Micheal O’Neil, David Moyes, Aljosa Asanovic, Rafael Benitez, Avram Grant, Packie Bonner, Frank de Boer, Aitor Karanka and Jean-Francois Domergue tasked by UEFA to select the Best XI for the tournament decided to select Best XI entirely of Spanish players.

Spain dominated and brushed aside every opponent that came thier way so it is not surprising to see them have 6 players in the Best XI.

France had two with Germany, Switzerland and runner-up England all having one player each in the Team of the Tournament.

The Technical Observers chose 4-3-3 as their preferred formation with Spain’s Luis De la Fuente as the head coach.
