Dreams FC was drawn on Tuesday afternoon against Stade Malien in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup. Speaking about the draw, the General manager of the club, Ameenu Shardow, expressed his delight in the recognition the club is gaining in the country and on the continent.

“I am very confident, and I like the fact that people are beginning to recognize the effort we are making and supporting us in diverse ways,” said Ameenu Shardow.

The General manager also expressed his confidence in The Still Believe reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup only if people will troop to Baba Yara to support them.

“If the support we are getting can be translated to the venue, I know and I am very confident that we will qualify for the semi-final.” Ameenu Shadow further stated.

Dreams FC has been playing their CAF Confederation Cup games in Kumasi and they have been playing in front of virtually no spectators. The team manager revealed the recognition they have gotten in Ghana, and if it could be translated to the pitch would motivate them to secure a place in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dreams will travel to Mali in the first leg and host Stade Malien in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the second leg.
