Beverly Afaglo’s daughter takes over her business

The entrepreneurial legacy of late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo is receiving a new lease of life as her daughter, Violyn Baah, steps into the public spotlight to promote one of the businesses her mother left behind.

Violyn, who has been described as the young CEO of Traffic Shawarma, was recently seen on the streets of Kasoa alongside her father, musician Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster of Praye fame, as they embarked on a promotional exercise for the family business.

In a video shared on TikTok by King Bygone Live, the father and daughter were seen distributing flyers to residents and passers-by while encouraging them to patronise Traffic Shawarma.

Violyn wore a branded Traffic Shawarma T-shirt during the exercise as she actively engaged members of the public.

The footage was accompanied by a message describing the exercise as a continuation of the family’s efforts to keep Beverly’s business going.

“The hustle continues. Violyn Baah, Young CEO, the daughter of the late Beverly Afaglo, hits the streets of Kasoa to promote her late mom’s business she left behind,” the post stated.

The appearance has attracted attention online, with viewers praising the young entrepreneur for taking an active role in maintaining a business established by her late mother.

Before her death, Beverly Afaglo was known not only for her work as an actress and television presenter but also for her involvement in entrepreneurship.

Among the businesses associated with her was Glamour Beauty Salon, while she also ventured into the food business with the establishment of Traffic Shawarma.

The shawarma business was launched in April 2024, giving Beverly another platform outside entertainment through which she could pursue her entrepreneurial interests.

Her decision to build businesses alongside her entertainment career became part of the wider story of her life, particularly as she sought to create ventures beyond acting and television.

Following Beverly’s death, Violyn’s involvement in Traffic Shawarma has offered the family an opportunity to continue operating one of the ventures her mother established.

Rather than limiting the business activities to a conventional promotional campaign, the young CEO joined her father on the streets of Kasoa to personally distribute flyers and engage potential customers.

The public appearance has consequently been interpreted by many viewers as more than a marketing exercise, with the family visibly working to preserve an enterprise connected to Beverly’s memory.

Choirmaster, who was married to Beverly, has remained an important part of the family following her death. The couple had two daughters, Violyn and Kora.

Beverly Afaglo died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42 after battling cancer.
