CR Belouizdad’s huge home game against the defending champions Al Ahly has been postponed due to the Egyptian giants’ commitment to the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Group A

Pyramids in Cairo will welcome Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa. This is a huge test for Jaime Pacheco’s Pyramids as a win for the debutant will brighten their opportunity to qualify for the Knockout phase.

5-time winner TP Mazembe will welcome the Mauritanian minnows, Nouadhibou, to Lubumbashi with Lamine Ndiaye hoping to record his second home win in the group.

Group B

It is a must-win match in Dar es Salaam for Simba SC as they host Wydad Casablanca. Simba is yet to record a single win in their three games and they bid to record their first victory in the group.

Asec Mimosas will make it to the knockout phase with a victory against Jwaneng Galaxy. Asec Mimosas won 2-0 in the reverse fixture and a win is expected in Abidjan.

Group C

Petro Atletico will host Esperance Tunis as a win for the Os Tricolores will ensure a qualification is almost secured.

Al Hilal has the chance to record their second win in the group stage. They will welcome Etoile du Sahel who they lost 1-0 to in MD3.

Group D

Young Africans will host the Ghanaian side Medeama SC in Tanzania. This is a must-win game for Yanga as they remain the only side not to record a win in Group D.

Belouizdad was due to host Al Ahly but the match has been postponed because Al Ahly is in Saudi Arabia playing in the FIFA Club World Cup.
