Radio broadcaster and media personality, Kwabena Marfo, is for the criminalization of sex toys in Ghana as a bill is currently in parliament for consideration.

The broadcaster also questioned the Minister for Communications and Digitalisation Ursula Owusu Ekuful’s views on the potential criminalization of sex toys.

“If we don’t criminalize them, what is she going to use them for? I don’t know her problem with that because most women have husbands and boyfriends, and most men also have girlfriends aside from their wives so what is she going to use the sex toys for? Mr. Kwabsna Marfo pointed out.

This was in response to Ursula Owusu Ekuful’s caution to parliament not to craft the anti-LGBTQ+ bill in ways that could potentially result in unintended consequences.

“Madam Ursula Owusu is saying that they shouldn’t criminalize sex toys in the anti-LGBTQI bill, and I am asking her what is she going to use them for.”, the journalist asked.
