Kumasi-based broadcaster Rexford Kwadwo Adu Ntim, popularly known as DJ KA, has returned to the airwaves after weeks away from his radio duties following a controversy surrounding the circulation of a sex video involving him and a woman.
DJ KA resumed work at Kessben FM on Monday, August 17, 2026, according to a Facebook post by media personality Sirr Joe, bringing an apparent end to a period of uncertainty surrounding the broadcaster’s future at the station.
His return has attracted considerable attention from fans and followers who have closely monitored developments since the controversy erupted in July.
The broadcaster was thrust into the spotlight after a video showing what was described as a private moment between him and a woman began circulating widely on social media.
The rapid spread of the footage triggered intense public discussion and placed the presenter under significant pressure, forcing him to publicly address the matter.
In a Facebook statement issued at the height of the controversy, DJ KA apologised to the public and acknowledged that he had recorded the footage. However, he strongly denied being responsible for its circulation online.
He expressed regret over the situation, saying the incident did not represent the brands and institutions he was associated with, and appealed to the public for forgiveness.
The controversy subsequently reached his workplace, with Kessben Media taking steps to distance itself from the incident.
Management announced that DJ KA had been asked to temporarily step away from his duties while an internal inquiry was conducted into the circumstances surrounding the video.
According to the account shared by Sirr Joe, the suspension was intended largely to give the presenter an opportunity to compose himself, regroup and deal with the intense public scrutiny that followed the video’s circulation.
The exact outcome of the internal inquiry has not been made public in the information available.
Nevertheless, DJ KA’s return to the station suggests that management has decided to allow him to resume his professional duties.
Sirr Joe welcomed the broadcaster back, describing him as a “champion” and wishing him strength, focus and success as he returned to the airwaves.
The announcement generated mixed but largely supportive reactions from social media users.
