It took Dreams FC 10 games to record their first-ever win of the 2024-25 season. The Still Believe secured a hard-fought victory over one of the favorites for the Ghana Premier League’s title, Medeama SC.

Dreams FC had 7 goal attempts compared to Medeama’s 2 in the first half but both failed to record a single shot on target.

In the second half, Dreams stepped up, continued mounting pressure on the Mauve and Yellow by believing that they could snatch the 3 points.

Joseph Esso’s 70th-minute strike ensured that Abdul Karim-Zito’s side ended the day outside 18th position.

The season has been disastrous thus far with Dreams finding it difficult to replicate the 2023-24 season’s performance.

Karim Zito worked magic last season but has failed to repeat it this season. The experienced gaffer will hope the slim triumph over Mrdeama will be the turning point for his side.

Medeama remains 5th after a horrible run of no VICTORY in the last three games. Head coach Nebojsa Kapor will start to feel the heat from Medama fans.
