Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has given anticident of the power crisis in Ghana describing it as an old age problem.

According to her in a write-up, ‘dumsor has not been a novelty in our 4th Republic.’

‘In fact, Ghanaians remember how under President Kuffour, people went to pray at Akosombo as a way of fixing the problem.
‘We are all also aware that dumsor became intense under Mr Mahama and the NDC resolved to deal with it.’

‘Indeed, the records show that Mr Mahama did his utmost best to find a sustainable solution. It took many agonizing days and many sleepless nights to fix. Mr Mahama took the fall for dumsor.’

‘Today, if you take out the capacity that Mahama added to our generation, our economy will be massively affected and this country will probably shut down.’

‘The current government has no excuse for plunging us back into Dumsor after all the hard work has already been done by John Mahama.’.
