The editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has disclosed how Black Stars Committee members shared a million dollars in Qatar.
“Black Stars committee members shared 500,000 dollars during the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup”, Jerome revealed.
“Every worker deserves a salary but for us to give half a million dollars to 5 people while we have no training facility doesn’t make sense to me.
Jerome shared his opinion on the problems the nation is facing in terms of facilities.
“The reason why I am saying the problem the nation is facing now in terms of facilities is good is that it will serve as a wake-up call to the leaders. Excuse me, if we had sensible leaders, they would have thought that it was high time Ghana had better facilities”, added Jerome Otchere.
When Sometymer quizzed him about his opinion on the Black Stars team and the three local-based players included in the final 27-man squad, the chief editor said, “I am okay with the selected 27-man squad for the AFCON.
“It’s good that we have three players in the Black Stars from the Ghana Premier League for the 2023 AFCON”, added Jerome.
Ghana will play against Cape Verse, Egypt and Mozambique in the group stage of the AFCON 2023.
