A 20-year-old man named Kwadwo Bright was fatally stabbed during a dispute over a plastic chair in Ashanti Newtown, Kumasi.

The incident reportedly escalated into violence when the deceased and his friend, Baker, asserted that they owned a chair at a snooker game centre.

The disagreement was reported to have been settled between the two friends, but later, Baker, 21, approached Kwadwo and stabbed him in the neck.

Kwadwo was taken to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The incident has shocked the entire Ashanti Newton, where residents are calling for security to be tighter so that the indiscipline can be reduced.
