Ex-Asante Kotoko striker Micheal Osei has revealed that Asante Kotoko deserved to win the Super Clash on Sunday.

In a fierce contest at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, a brace from Ugandan striker Stephen Mukwala helped Asante Kotoko record a 3-2 win over their rivals Hearts of Oak which led to their fourth defeat in the League.

Expressing his view on the game, the former Bibiani Gold Stars coach said, “It was a very tactical play. Both teams displayed a very good game to football-loving fans, but Kotoko was on top of the game, so they deserve the win.”

Micheal Osei played for Okwawu United and Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League so he knows a thing or two about the Super Clash and the league in toto.
