Bones Man on Friday made a shocking announcement that he is stopping the Philanthropic job to the disappointment of his followers and lovers.
Why did he decide to quit the philanthropy?
Bones cited a troubling experience with a man named Mr. Kofi John, who required urgent surgery for a medical condition.
According to Bones Man, after sharing Mr. John’s story online, he was able to raise only GH¢5,000 from his followers—far short of the estimated GH¢100,000 needed for the entire procedure. He decided to use the GH¢5,000 to pay for advertising on TV3’s social media platforms. That strategic move paid off when a generous couple saw the post and offered to cover the full cost of the surgery.
Mr. John underwent the procedure successfully, which cost approximately GH¢80,000, leaving a balance of GH¢20,000. However, things turned sour when Mr. John allegedly expected the full remaining amount to be handed over to him. He reportedly went around accusing Bones Man of withholding the rest of the donations.
In his defence, Bones Man explained that he also incurs costs when facilitating such support, expenses including transportation, interviews, and publicity. He said he had planned to use part of the remaining funds to buy medications for Mr. John and had already given him additional cash for upkeep. Still, this appeared unsatisfactory to Mr. John.
The situation escalated when a female friend of Mr. John allegedly threatened to go on a radio tour to accuse Bones Man of embezzling the remaining funds.
He announced via his Facebook page to quit his job
“After 7 years of Hard work, raising funds and risking my life to Save Hundreds of Souls and impacting an uncountable number of lives, I would officially like to end this whole thing.
Out of this 7 years, I’ve had about 5 accidents, uncountable injuries and few dangers and I am happy that today someone has a Life to live, someone is able to go to school, someone has a Work doing and someone also have a helper to pay their fees.

To all the hundreds of people in my DM, I am sorry I cannot help anyone anymore, and you can equally try other platforms.
I have done a lot for human, but human doesn’t appreciate. It’s been good working with you all,” Mr. Bones said.
In an emotional video, Bones Man expressed deep frustration, stating that he was done with philanthropic work due to Mr. John’s ungrateful behaviour. However, things have since taken a positive turn.
The announcement to quit the philanthropic work was met with thousands of reaction as people begged him to reconsider his plans. Mr. Bones has become the source of people’s joy after making the world knows that he loves helping people.

“Since yesterday till now, I have received hundreds of calls and texts from different people, whom I do not even know, about my decision to end my philanthropic work.
A lot of influential people I never thought I would meet have called and spoken to me about my decision.
The saddest call I received was from my own Vida, who asked me just one question: where do I want her to go now? It is not only Vida, but most of the people I take care of have also called to ask me where they should go now.
I have also taken my time to read every comment, and almost everyone is not in support of my decision.
In view of this, I would like to rescind my decision to stop this work and come back stronger to do more. I know I am working with humans, and mistakes and errors will definitely happen, so I am standing on the death of our Lord Jesus to forgive anyone and also ask for forgiveness if I have equally offended anyone.
I hope and pray we do more for society.
