Golden Kick 3-1 Attram De Visser
Access Bank Division One stole the attention as two clubs faced each other in the first semi-finals of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup at TNA Park in Tarkwa.
The two clubs have not been doing well in the division, and although they have no relegation battle to do so, they have fully focused on this meeting for almost two weeks.
After eliminating Hearts of Oak, Golden Kick was many people’s favourite because of their fighting spirit.
The TNA Park in Tarkwa welcomed the two sides with open arms. Golden Kick’s early pressure paid off with Paul Yeboah breaking the deadlock in the 17th minute. Golden Kick was still in full control after taking a 1-0 lead. David Amazu in the 22nd minute doubled Golden Kick’s lead to put the game far beyond Attram De Visser.
Attram De Visser started finding their feet in the game but failed to threaten Golden Kick. With 2-0 ahead, Golden Kick was too comfortable and protected their 2-0 lead to halftime.
The second half commenced marvellously for Golden Kick, who scored their third through Bless Ege. The 3-0 lead was incredible, with fans of Golden Kick thinking of who they would play in the finals.
Attram De Visser pulled one back to make it 3-1 with just two minutes to play. It was so late for them to stage a comeback as Golden Kick secured the ticket to the finals.
