I just can’t see Haaland not scoring 1,000 goals – Jamie Carragher

Erling Haaland’s brace helped Manchester City record a hard-fought 2-0 win over Portuguese champions FC Porto on the opening night of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League at the Estadio Do Dragao.

Haaland, 26, has grown to become undoubtedly the most efficient and dangerous number 9 in European football with unbelievable instincts and an eye for goals.

After Manchester City’s victory in Portugal, former Liverpool centre back Jammie Carragher waxed lyrical about the Norway international, boldly declaring that Haaland will score 1,000 goals before he retires.
