Manchester United opens talks with Bournemouth for Antoine Semenyo

According to The Sun newspaper, Manchester United have opened talks with Premier League club Bournemouth for the transfer of Antoine Semenyo.

The 25-year-old forward has been so sensational in the current campaign with the minnows after playing 35 league games for the club, having enjoyed 3031 minutes.

Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is an admirer of the Ghanaian forward who can play across all the front three positions of his favourite 3-4-3 formation.

The Red Devils have planned to make their signings in the transfer window very early to have enough time to prepare for the 2025-26 season. The club has been having major problems in terms of goalscoring and is ready to invest in proven forwards.

Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha of Wolves, Nigerian striker Osimhen of Galatasaray and English young striker Liam Delap of Ipswich Town have all been mentioned in the media to be on the list of Manchester United for transfer.

Semenyo has scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in the season. Bournemouth will demand for not less than 70M euros for whoever wants to sign their star man.
