“Golden Boy” Abdul Razak has criticised the GFA for allowing people to apply for the vacant Black Stars head coach position knowing very well they have chosen Otto Addo as the next coach for Ghana per rumours.

“If the FA knew they would appoint Otto Addo, there would be no need to open applications for the Black Stars coaching job.

“They treat the Black Stars’ coaching position as trash,” revealed Razak.

The former Asante Kotoko star blasted the GFA for treating Black Stars like a thrash.

“Otto Addo led us to the World Cup, but nothing good came from it, so why him again?”

Razak made it clear that Otto Addo failed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup so he sees no reason why he should be appointed again.

“They (FA) should not try to dupe Ghanaians by opening the application when they considered appointing Otto, who knows nothing about coaching and has accomplished nothing. I will say it again that the GFA is treating the Black Stars coaching position like a refuse dump,” Razak underlined.

The GFA has revealed that it has received over 500 applications from coaches worldwide for the Black Stars job.

It is rumoured that the GFA is set to reappoint Otto Addo as the next head coach to replace Chris Houghton who was sacked after the 2023 AFCON where Ghana failed miserably.
