Black Stars return to their favorite grounds, Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday afternoon against Angola for the first game of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

Ghana is placed in Group F alongside Sudan, Niger and Angola with the top two teams qualifying for the final tournament in Morocco.

Otto Addo is very confident his team can triumph over the Palancas Negras of Angola at their favorite Baba Yara Stadium.

Kwesi Appiah’s Sudan earlier on Wednesday narrowly defeated Niger 1-0 to send a warning to their rivals that they mean business so Angola and Ghana will want to have a good start.

The preparations for the Black Stars in their journey to lift their first
AFCON title since 1982 starts now.

Skipper Andre Ayew missed the call up once again but Thomas Partey is expected to lead the team against Angola once again.

M’bala Nzola who moved from Fiorentina in Italy to Lens in France missed Angola’s 26-man-squad but Mabululu and Luvumbo are set to lead the team.
