Medeama resumed Ghana Premier League duties after a month’s break due to the CAF Champions League commitment.

At the Akoon Park in Tarkwa, Medeama recorded a 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars.

The game sprung to life in the second half as Kwadwo Amoako broke the deadlock through a penalty kick in the 71st minute.

The win moves Medeama SC to 9th on the league log after playing 12 games. The Mauve and Yellow have 4 games in hand as they trail the league leaders by a whopping 10 points.

Bibianai Gold Stars on the other hand are lying 14th after playing 15 games. The Bibiani-based club has won 15 points from a possible 45.
