Ghana set to prepare in South Africa ahead of the 2023 AFCON

AFCON 2023 is almost 3 weeks before kick-off and all 24 participating teams are planning for the illustrious competition to be held in Ivory Coast.

AFCON 2023 is almost 3 weeks before kick-off and all 24 participating teams are planning for the illustrious competition to be held in Ivory Coast.

Per reports, Black Stars will pitch camp in South Africa to prepare for the tournament. The Sports Ministry and Ghana Football Association reached an agreement as they considered weather conditions and facilities before choosing  South Africa.

Ghana will play a friendly match against Botswana as part of the preparations in South Africa ahead of the 2023 AFCON.

Ghana is placed in Group B along with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.

The 34th edition of CAN will be played between 13th January to 11th February.
