As the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up for the polls to elect parliamentary candidates for the December 7 polls, the race is reportedly getting fierce in the Tafo-Pankrono constituency in the Ashanti Region.

The contest has become a two-horse race; between the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Vincent Ekwow Asafua, and one Dr. Serwaa Donkor.

The seven hundred and twenty delegates in the constituency are sharply divided and some are against the incumbent MP, indicating a possible and clear victory for Dr. Serwaa come 27th January 2024.

Meanwhile, political analysts are predicting a landslide win for the female candidate should the current happenings in the constituency remain the same.

According to delegates in the constituency, they will vote for Dr. Serwaa Donkore because she represents the face of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and the party at the grassroots level.

According to delegates who spoke to reporters, they will choose competence and humility going forward, implying to vote for Dr. Serwaa Donkor to lead the party in the constituency.

We will keep readers posted.
