Ghanaian minnows Dreams FC travelled to Angola and recorded a fantastic victory against Aademica Lobito. In MD3 of the CAF Confederations Cup, Karim Zito’s lads played their hearts out in a feisty fixture that a defeat would have been horrific for the Still Believe.

Youngster Aziz Issah put the away side ahead in the 10th minute. Basilio Baros levelled the score for the home team four minutes later. No team was able to score again before the break after a series of clear goal-scoring opportunities.

The experienced John Antwi restored Dreams FC’s lead in the 58th minute as Aholou Avecevou added Dream’s third in the 88th minute. Samuel Cachimbombo’s 90th-minute strike was not enough to secure a point for the home team.

Dreams FC has 6 points as Club Africain who lost 1-0 to Rivers United in Nigeria. The Nigerian side also has 6 points as  Academica of Angola has lost all their 3 games.
