Charles Asampong Taylor has disclosed that Salifu Ibrahim of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko’s Richmond Lamptey must be given call-ups to the national team.

When sharing his thought on Angel TV on Sunday’s Super Clash that Kotoko won 3-2 against Hearts of Oak, the former Black Stars forward said, “If we do not see these two (Salifu and Lamptey) in the Black Stars squad, then we need to question Chris Houghton, the two players have shown talent and quality and deserve a place in our national team”.

Richmond Lamptey has earned nationwide recognition with the performance he put up on Sunday as Salifu Ibrahim was probably the best player on the pitch before he got injured earlier in the second half.

Charles Taylor played for both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in his career as many believe he is the best player in our local scene in the 21st Century.
