Newly promoted side Nations FC won their 5th consecutive match of the season at Dr Kwame Kyei’s Sports Complex in Abrankese against Aduana Stars.

Barimah Baah broke the deadlock on the stroke of the first half for Nations FC. The lead was doubled one minute into the second half by Nafiu Sulemana.

Aduana Stars struggled to deal with the intensity of the home team but they pulled one back through Justus Tortsutsey in the 91st minute.

The win means there is just one point between Nations FC and the league leaders Aduana Stars.

Aduana Stars have lost three in their last four Premier League games which signals echoes of last season.
