Stephen Amankonah’s 84th-minute strike ensured Berekum Chelsea beat Great Olympics 1-0. Oly Dade is winless in their last four games as Berekum Chelsea bounces back to winning ways after drawing and losing in their last two games.

Bechem United recorded 4-0 wins over Accra Lions. A brace in the second half from Cephas Mantey and a goal each from Osei Kuffuor and Emmanuel Avornyor in the first half consigned the visitors to an embarrassing defeat.

Asante Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium 3-2 to ensure that their winning run is not hurt. A brace from Stephen Mukwala and a goal from Isaac Oppong made sure that Mtange and Karikari’s goals were not enough to prevent the Phobians from defeat.

Legon Cities’ brilliant first-half performance humbled RTU. Goals from Boateng, Suraj and Adjei gave Legon Cities a commanding 3-0 lead over RTU in the first half. Munkuyeli Mohammed’s strike in the 69th minute was a consolation for RTU.

Nsoatreman surprisingly lost at home to Maxwell Arthur’s 66th-minute goal for Karela United.

Samartex continued their fine home record with a 2-0 win over lowly Heart of Lions. Emmanuel Mamah and Evans Osei Wusu’s goals finished the beleaguered Heart of Lions.

The win sent Samartex to the top of the table with 26 points after 14 games as Heart of Lions remain rooted in the bottom of the table.
