Speaking in a press conference ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup tie against Arsenal on Sunday at the Emirates, the German manager said, “I would be lying if I said I wish Mohamed Salah good luck in the competition, I wouldn’t be too upset if they were eliminated in the group stage, but that probably won’t happen.
Mohammed Salah, 31,is due to represent Egypt at AFCON 2023 in the middle of the European season. His departure will definitely has a negative impact on Liverpool as he is expected to miss at least 4 games for Liverpool.
Mohammed Salah has been the main man for The Reds in the ongoing Premier League season as he has scored 14 League goals and recorded 8 asists helping Liverpool top the table.
