GFA president Kurt Okraku has blasted the National Sports Authority (NSA) on its decision to hire Accra Sports Stadium for Christmas musical jamborees at the expense of football.

The decision has forced the occupants of the Accra Sports Stadium to vacate the venue and are now playing their home games in Kumasi and Sogakope.

Accra Hearts of Oak, Accra Great Olympics and Accra Lions are the inhabitants of the Accra Sports Stadium in the League and Phobia and Oly Dade are now playing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as Accra Lions have chosen WAFA Park in Sogakope.
In a Facebook post, the president of the Ghana Football Association wrote, ” What the NSA has done to football and sports in this month should never happen again. It is just not acceptable”.

Accra Hearts of last week hosted Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in which the Porcupine Warriors triumphed.

Another huge game at the Baba Yara will see Great Olympics host Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara on Sunday
