Westham forward Mohammed Kudus was spotted at the Kumasi International Airport on Tuesday morning en route to join the Black Stars for the 2023 AFCON preparations.

The 23-year-old talented attacker has been missing the Black Stars’ training sessions due to injury. He was seen alongside Westham United’s doctors who are due to monitor his injury situation.

Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Kudus Mohammed might not be available for Ghana’s Group B opener against Cape Verde on Sunday at 8 pm at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan due to a hamstring injury he is recovering from after sustaining it in Westhams 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Kudus missed the last AFCON hosted in Cameroon in 2021 and it will be a huge blow for Ghana if he misses again.
