It was all about fireworks at Abrankese between Nations FC and Accra Hearts Oak.

Hamza Issah broke the deadlock in the 9th minute after skipper Boahen had put the ball on the plate for Issah to score.

Nations FC’s determination was extraordinary as they created enough chances and kept on pushing for an equaliser.

The pressure paid off as Acquah’s free kick in the 94th minute was connected by Richard Danso whose low-tamed shot slipped through Richmond Ayi’s hand. It is the second week running that Richmond Ayi has cost Accra Hearts of Oak points.

Richmond Ayi apologised to the Hearts of Oak fans soon after the game as he accepted it was all his fault for conceding that goal.

Nations FC moves to 4th place with 24 points as they are separated by 3 points from the top.

Accra Hearts of Oak after 15 games is lying in 9th position with 17 points.
