Kingsley Coman’s second-half goal eliminated Manchester United as they finished bottom of Group A. Copenhagen recorded a 1-0 victory in Denmark over Galatasaray to secure a place in the knockout phase. 30-year-old Danish midfielder Lukas Lerager’s 58th-minute striker was enough to send the Turkish side out of the Champions League.
Yorbe Vertessen’s 50th-minute goal helped cancelled out Eddie Nketia’s first-half goal which helped the Dutch side to finish second in the group to book a place in Round 16.
Frankowski and Fulgini’s second-half goals recorded a 2-1 win for RC Lens over Sevilla in France but the victory was not enough to ensure qualification for the knockout phase. Sergio Ramos’ goal for Sevilla could not prevent them from finishing at the bottom of the group.
Dani Ceballos’ winner in the 89th minute ensured Real Madrid maintained their winning run in Group C. Joselu scored a brace for Los Blancos as Volland and Kral were on the score sheet for Union Berlin.
Napoli secured a 2-0 win over Braga with Osimhen scoring the second goal after an own goal from Saatci had put the home team ahead.
With a combined 15 goal attempts, neither Inter Milan nor Real Sociedad were able to break the deadlock as the game ended 0-0.
Benfica secured a hard-fought 3-1 win against Salzburg to qualify for the Europa League. Angel Di Maria scored directly from a corner kick to give the Portuguese side the lead in the 32nd minute. Rafa Silva and Cabral scored Benfica’s second and third as Sucic was on target for Salzburg.
