Ghana Football Association has confirmed that the friendly game against Namibia on Monday is gate-free as supporters are expected to fill the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to show the Black Stars love and their support before they depart for Ivory Coast.
In a way to pay back the loyalty shown by Ghanaians, especially fans in Oseikrom, the GFA has decided to let football fanatics watch their beloved Black Stars for free.
Ghana is still waiting for the coveted AFCON trophy after last winning it 42 years ago in Libya. Expectations of the Black Stars from fans are normal as they know how the team has struggled recently against minnows like Madagascar, Central African Republic and Comoros.
The game will Kick off at 8 pm as the GFA has made the famous Popular Stand and Center Line free of charge.
Ghana will kick off their AFCON campaign against Cape Verde on January 14th at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan.
Ghana will play against Egypt and Mozambique on the 18th and 22nd of January on matchday 2 and 3 respectively in the group stage.
