Olympique Lyon forward Mama Balde headlines the 25-man squad as Ze Turbo, Edgar Le and Fali Cande are included in Baciro Cande’s 25-man list.

Skipper Jonas Mendes will make his 4th consecutive AFCON appearance for Guinea Bissau at the AFCON.  The goalkeeper has been regular as he has been in the post for 7 out of 9 matches  Guinea Bissau has played in the 3 AFCONs.

Guinea Bissau is in Group A alongside the host, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
